Frequently asked questions
Do I Need a Referral for Physical Therapy?
No. It’s completely normal to feel unsure about whether you need physical therapy or how to begin. You don’t need to have everything figured out right now. Just reach out to our team, and we’ll walk you through the process. We’re here to help you start your recovery journey quickly and answer any questions you have along the way.
Is there a waiting list? How long until I can book an appointment?
When you reach out to us, you’ll connect directly with our in-office team—no chatbots, just real professionals dedicated to understanding your needs. We’re here to answer your questions and schedule your appointment within 24 to 48 hours, helping you take the first step toward feeling your best.
Does Curnyn Physical Therapy Accept Insurance?
Yes, Curnyn Physical Therapy is a preferred provider for most major insurance networks and carriers. Please note that some insurance companies may still list us under our original name, Sportcare Physical Therapy.
To make your experience seamless, we verify your eligibility and benefits during your visit and provide a clear explanation of your insurance coverage for physical therapy. If you prefer, we can confirm your benefits before scheduling your appointment—simply let us know. Additionally, we are happy to assist in clarifying details such as co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, or any policy limitations you may have.
Understanding Private/Group Health Insurance Billing
As a courtesy to our patients, we handle insurance billing and process claims on a weekly basis. However, any charges not covered by your insurance—such as co-insurance or deductible amounts—will be billed to you monthly. Co-payments and estimated co-insurance payments are due at the time of each visit. If you haven't met your annual deductible, payment will be required for visits until the deductible is fulfilled.
Do you offer self-pay options for uninsured patients?
Absolutely! We offer self-pay options for patients without insurance or those facing high deductibles or copays. Each visit is priced at a flat rate of $130, ensuring transparent and straightforward pricing. If you’re uninsured, our in-office team is here to help. Reach out to us, and we’ll gladly provide all the details you need. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a variety of payment options, including cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover debit or credit cards.
